Work includes the removal of slide debris; excavation of the slide area with bench-cutting into the stable embankment and a keyway into the foundation toe; lime-treatment of excavated soil; placement and compaction of treated soil to restore original design contours; and final surface restoration with riprap on the upstream slope and topsoil with vegetation on the downstream slope.
